Another photo set, meanwhile, features an Easter egg for fellow Marvel villain Kraven the Hunter.

AceShowbiz - As "Morbius" is currently in production in Manchester, England, fans are expecting to see a slew of set photos going around the internet. Just recently, new photos from the set featuring the first look at lead actor Jared Leto and Matt Smith have found their way out online, much to fans' excitement.

While Leto previously shared a photo of his character on the set, it didn't offer much about his character. However, one of the photos that circulate online gives fans a better look at Leto's take on Morbius. He can be seen donning a grey windbreaker with a matching Tee. He pairs the look with a pair of black bottoms.

Interestingly, the look appears to be lifted straight out of the 2013 comic book run featuring the classic Spider-Man villain. "His outfit is definitely from the 2013 run of Morbius. #Morbius," a fan tweets alongside a photo of Leto's titular villainous vampire and a photo of Morbius in the comics.

Also featured in some set photos is Matt Smith, who is rumored to be playing Loxias Crown. Crown is a villain known as Hunger who also ends up with similar powers to Morbius.

The "Doctor Who" alum is seen donning a suit, though it remains to be seen if that's the costume of his character or not.

Another photo set, meanwhile, features an Easter egg for fellow Marvel villain Kraven the Hunter. A fan manages to capture a photo of a delivery truck for Kraven Pasteries. However, it's unclear if this Easter egg is just a fun reference to the villain or will be an actual set-up.

"Morbius" is based on Marvel Comics' character, who is famously known as one of Spider-Man villains. Originally Dr. Michael Morbius, he is described as a scientist who becomes a vampire when a blood experiment goes wrong. "The Fast and the Furious" franchise actor Tyrese Gibson has recently been added to the cast, but his character is unknown either.

Daniel Espinosa ("Safe House") is serving behind the lens with Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama providing the script. "Venom (2018)" producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing "Morbius".

"Morbius" is said to be given a July 13, 2020 release date in the U.S.
