During a recent episode of Jana's 'Whine Down' podcast, Mike Caussin admits to have been in treatment for three years, but sober for only one year due to the 'massive' relapse.

AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer's husband Mike Caussin suffered a "massive" relapse in his battle against sex addiction.
The country singer revealed during a recent episode of her "Whine Down" podcast that the former American football player had been in treatment for three years, but sober for one - and had a relapse around a year ago.
"But no sex outside the marriage," Mike insisted. "I'm not minimising cheating because we have other things in Jan and I's discussion of boundaries that's cheating. But no sex outside of the marriage. I just want people to be clear that there wasn't any other affair since that moment."
Mike and Jana's relationship came to an end in 2016, a year after they'd married, after she discovered he'd been unfaithful. However, Jana gave him a second chance and they reconciled by renewing their wedding vows at the end of 2017. They now share two children together - Jolie, three, and three-month-old Jace.
Elaborating on the relapse, Jana said that Mike did "something he should not have done that was in a circle that was very red, like, bad and could have been awful."
"And that was a, you know, massive relapse," she continued. "Yes, it wasn't physical out of the marriage, but it was something where the action was basically... We're just basically happy that someone didn't show up."
The former "One Tree Hill" star then added, "I showed up at the hotel instead. If you really want to know."
But she and Mike once again worked through the situation, and their relationship now appears to be stronger than ever.
"Yeah, we've been through some s**t," Mike admitted. "Um, yeah, so that's why even though I've been in the program coming on three years, I'm a year sober."
