Many are disappointed that Candace, a devoted Christian, defends her 'Fuller House' co-star who cheated her daughters' way to get into USC.

AceShowbiz - Many were not impressed that Candace Cameron Bure voiced her support for her "Fuller House" co-star Lori Loughlin at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. While the D.J. Tanner-Fuller depicter wanted to express her solidarity to her friend in trouble, people think that she defied her own faith in God and ignored those affected by Lori's wrongdoings.

Known for often preaching God and His righteous ways on her Instagram posts, Candace got attacked for not setting the right example by defending Lori. "How Christian, advocating to kids that it's okay to lie to officials, steal from others who worked hard, and lie to people," one follower commented on a clip of Candace's speech that she posted on her Instagram account.

Another similarly wrote, "Too bad Aunt Becky ruined the legacy, by lying and cheating And You're sticking by her because family sticks together no matter what? Wow, so christian of you to support a cheating fraud!! Bye Candace."

"What Lori did was wrong. If I were in your position, I wouldn't want to be associated with her," someone else wrote a lengthy comment. "She is going to get off with a slap on the wrist because her and her husband are multi-millionaires and will buy themselves out of jail too. Of course you wouldn't understand because you're also a millionaire and you haven't struggled with money at least one day of your life. She took away two spots to what could have been actual deserving college students and you're preaching for her forgiveness and having her back. It's pathetic and this is coming from a religious person too. I'm disappointed, but not surprised."

Candace and her "Fuller House" co-stars Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin took the stage at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 23 when their show won favorite funny TV show. As they accepted the award, Andrea said, "Thank you for voting 'Fuller House' as your favorite funny TV show. You have been laughing alongside of our family for four seasons and this family has a lot of heart."

Candace continued, "And where there's a lot of heart, there's a lot of love." She added without mentioning Lori, "And a loving family sticks together no matter what." She also said that family sticks "together through the hard times," prompting many to believe that she was talking about Lori and the college admissions scandal.

Candace went on saying, "They support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets. And a loving family that sticks together, also celebrates the really good times together."

Jodie concluded the speech as saying, "This is one of those good times. You've stuck with us for 30 years and we love you all so much. So thank you for the Kids' Choice Award, and we promise the fifth and final season is gonna be amazing."

Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were among fifty individuals charged in a large-scale nationwide college entrance exam cheating scandal. She allegedly paid $500,000 to get her two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, admitted into USC as member of the school's women's rowing team when in fact neither of them had ever trained in the sport and had no plans to do so.
