AceShowbiz - Having been rejected when auditioning for "American Idol" and "The Voice", Maren Morris is a living proof that you should never let the word "no" bring you down. Years after the rejection, the songstress has finally set herself as one of the most talented female singers in the country music industry, bagging home several awards within four years of her career.

Maren's journey to success was by no means easy, spending several years in Nashville writing songs for other artists such as Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson. But that eventually served as a good practice since her self-titled EP that she released after that was a huge success. The self-released album gained 2.5 million streams on Spotify within a month, with three songs appearing on U.S. and Global "Viral 50" charts. The album's success also helped her sign a record deal with major label.

Further proving herself as a talent to be reckoned with, her major label debut album "Hero" was released to critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Country Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. Its lead single, "My Church", topped Country Digital Songs chart in 2016 and reached the top five of Hot Country Songs chart. As if that wasn't enough, the song won Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammys.

Her achievements, obviously, didn't stop there. Maren later received praises for her collaboration with Zedd and Grey on "The Middle", which reached the top ten of the charts in the U.S., the U.K. and several other countries. The hit collaboration was additionally nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Following the success of her debut album, Maren recently released her sophomore effort "Girl" which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 chart. Racking up 23.96 million on-demand audio streams in its debut week, the album broke the record for the largest streaming week ever for a country studio album by a woman.
