In addition to the trailer, Netflix has released a slew of stills from the upcoming installment of the hit series.

AceShowbiz - The wait is over! Fans have been dying to get more sneak peek at upcoming season 3 of "Stranger Things", and Netflix has unleashed a full-length trailer for the new season. The new footage sees the gang facing a new horrifying threat while on their summer vacation.

The trailer opens with the rest of gang members pulling a prank on Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo). As they are now proper teenagers, things have been changed in their lives. Hawkins has also welcomed several changes including a new mall where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max (Sadie Sink) are hanging out together.

Somewhere in the trailer, Eleven is seen drowning in ocean, while in another scene she is seen kissing Mike (Finn Wolfhard). The trailer also glimpses a scene of the town celebrating the 4th of July in a festivity before it is interrupted by monstrous creature that wreaks havoc in the city.

It seems like most of action against the new monster will be taken place in the newly-opened Starcourt Mall. The place has played a recurring role in the season's marketing to date, further adding speculations that it will have a big role in the third season.

In addition to the trailer, Netflix has released a slew of stills from the upcoming installment.

Among those who are featured in the photos is new character Robin (Maya Thurman-Hawke). Working at ice cream shop Scoop Ahoy, she is described as an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins.

Season 3 of "Stranger Things" will arrive on July 4 on Netflix.
