AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Shane Dawson and his boyfriend Ryland Adams. The YouTube personality announced on Tuesday, March 19 that he's engaged to his boyfriend of three years, with the couple taking to Instagram to share the happy news to their followers.
Shane shared on the photo-sharing site a picture of him getting down on the knees as he presented a ring to Ryland. The latter was clearly elated in the photo, clasping his hands as he looked at the band in front of him. There were also a couple of selfies of the pair cuddling with each other. One of them featured them locking lips. "HE SAID YES!!!!! :)," Shane wrote alongside the pictures, which were taken at a beach.
As for Ryland, he offered a close-up look at his engagement ring as well as pictures of the couple flaunting their affection toward each other. In the caption, the social media star said, "We're engaged! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I've never been happier in my whole entire life!!"
Fans of the couple showered them with congratulatory messages following the announcement. One shared his/her well wishes, "I hope the best for you guys it will be perfect we all are blessed to have witnessed this moment." Another said, "OMG you guys are so perfect and amazing and just wow I'm SO happy for you too." There were also people who wondered why the "Not Cool" star got down on both knees instead of one.
Coming out as bisexual in 2015, Shane confirmed his relationship with Ryland on October 24, 2016. He gushed over him at the time, "He's sweet, caring and makes me so incredibly happy. He's also my boyfriend. He's been a really big part of my life and I'm so grateful that I met him." Prior to dating Ryland, Shane was linked to Lisa Schwartz.
