Corey Stoll and Brian d'Arcy James Added to Steven Spielberg's 'West Side Story' Cast

The film adaptation of the 1957 Broadway musical will see the actors playing Buzz Aldrin and Joseph A. Walker in 'First Man' as police officers Lieutenant Schrank and Sergeant Krupke respectively.

AceShowbiz - Corey Stoll and Brian d'Arcy James have signed on to play police officers Lieutenant Schrank and Sergeant Krupke in Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" revamp.

The actors will join Rita Moreno, Ansel Elgort, and newcomer Rachel Zegler in the film, adapted from a script by Oscar-nominated and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner.

He has adapted the screenplay from the original 1957 Broadway musical, which was written by Arthur Laurents with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

The film will shoot this summer.
