According to a source, Michael Sanchez has started talking to the National Enquirer about his sister's relationship with the Amazon CEO since last fall.

AceShowbiz - The identity of the person who leaked Jeff Bezos' private messages and photos to mistress Lauren Sanchez has been revealed. According to multiple reports, the former news anchor's brother apparently was the one who provided the texts to the National Enquirer after being paid an alleged $200,000 by the magazine's publisher.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Michael Sanchez, a talent agent and conservative, was a longtime source of the Enquirer and its top editor Dylan Howard. Sources familiar with the situation told the publication that Michael started talking to the Enquirer about his sister's relationship with the Amazon CEO since last fall.

This revelation corroborates a report by The Daily Beast in February that stated Michael was the one who leaked the texts. However, the talent agent debunked the rumors at the time, suggesting to Washington Post that spies for foreign governments, "rival tech companies or 'deep state' actors within the U.S. government" could be the culprit.

Michael doubled down on his denial during an interview with Vanity Fair. "I had nothing to do with leak of the d**k pics. That's the important thing... I never had access. It's clear they were sent to others," he said. "There are, like, 20 d**k pics. Lauren likely shared them with multiple girlfriends, not in a malicious way," he said.

He continued, "I'm not saying I didn't do something. Until I go under oath, what I can tell you now is that ever since April 20, when I met Jeff, my only goal has been to protect Jeff and Lauren."

As reported before, the texts and images included a variety of private pictures of Jeff and Lauren. Among them were a "below the belt selfie" and a picture of her "smoking cigar in what appears to be a simulated oral sex scene." The billionaire revealed last month that the Enquirer threatened to leak his private and intimate photos if his team didn't stop investigating the publication.
