It is reported that the legal issues that the Aunt Becky depicter is currently facing will not affect the production for the upcoming fifth season of the Netflix series.

AceShowbiz - Netflix's "Fuller House" has distanced itself from star Lori Loughlin after the actress was embroiled in college admission scam scandal. A new report suggests that Lori, who reprises her role as aunt Becky in the sequel of "Full House", will not return to the show's upcoming fifth and final season.

Sources reveal to The Hollywood Reporter that filming for the final season, which is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in the fall, hasn't started yet. However, the whole scandal reportedly won't affect the production since there are no current plans for her to return.

Both Netflix and Warner Horizon Television, which produces the series, have declined to comment on the report.

Lori recurred on the series as aunt Becky, the role she played on 1997-1995 television series "Full House". She has appeared in 13 of the new show's 57 episodes.

"Fuller House" is not the only one who drops Lori following the widespread bribery scam. Prior to this, network executives at Hallmark ended their relationship with the actress. "We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," representatives for Crown Media, which owns Hallmark, declared in a statement.

"We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including 'Garage Sale Mysteries', an independent third party production," the statement continued.

Lori and "Desperate Housewives" alum Felicity Huffman were among 50 people arrested in the FBI's Operation Varsity Blues, which exposed widespread college admissions bribery involving top universities like University of Southern California, Yale and Stanford. Felicity was arrested on March 12 along with college prep business founder William Rick Singer, who was allegedly at the helm of it. Lori's husband Mossimo Giannulli was also arrested on Tuesday, while the actress turned herself in to the authorities a day later.

Lori and her husband are accused of paying "bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team-despite the fact that they did not participate in crew-thereby facilitating their admission to USC."
