'The Walking Dead' actor has been tapped to substitute the 'Iron Fist' star as Malcolm Bright after a reported first table read for the new TV drama on which Michael Sheen stars as a serial killer.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" star Tom Payne has replaced Finn Jones as a top criminal psychologist in new TV drama "Prodigal Son".
The "Iron Fist" star's role as Malcolm Bright was recast following a table read, according to TVLine.
Payne has now stepped into the part and will play the son of Michael Sheen's serial killer character, known as The Surgeon.
"Scandal" star Bellamy Young will play his mother.
