AceShowbiz - Eva Longoria, Wilmer Valderrama, and Gina Rodriguez gathered in Mexico over the weekend, March 09-10, to raise awareness for families seeking asylum in the U.S.

The actors joined Kerry Washington, America Ferrera, Roselyn Sanchez and others as part of a Families Belong Together delegation in Tijuana on Saturday, March 09.

During the day, the stars visited the Espacio Migrante family shelter, where they met with families from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

This is NOT a political debate. It’s purely a conversation of people being there for people.. the humanitarian crises in the border is a call we have to answer.. we HAVE to understand that this is beyond our differences.. you have the right to believe and stand for what your heart feels. But being there for another human, in their moment of desperation.. it’s what we as people do with honor. They also passed out Coloring Without Borders coloring books to children and attended a border crossing to learn more about the asylum-seeking process.
