Jacqueline Laurita says of her co-star in a new interview, 'If Joe is truly the love of her life and the father of her kids, you'd think she would go wherever he goes to keep the family together as a unit!'

AceShowbiz - Not everyone agrees with Teresa Giudice's decision to leave husband Joe if he gets deported, and her "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-star Jacqueline Laurita is one of them. In an interview with Us Weekly, the latter admits she doesn't understand the "Turning Tables" author decides not to "stand by her man and keep her family intact."

She says to the magazine, "If Joe is truly the love of her life and the father of her kids, you'd think she would go wherever he goes to keep the family together as a unit! I feel like they've been separated long enough!" She then goes on admitting that Teresa's decision is "a little selfish," before comparing the latter's situation to her own family, in which Jacqueline grew up moving several times due to her father's job.

"My father was in the military, and my family moved several times growing up," she explained. "When my dad got stationed somewhere new, we all moved together, and we all learned to adjust wherever we went, whether that was somewhere in the United States or in another country, such as places like Germany and Korea."

Jacqueline went on saying that she and her husband are currently planning to move to another state right now, and they will be bringing their son with them whether he likes it or not.

"I don't care if I was making $1 million in the state of New Jersey. If my husband -- the love of my life and father of my kids -- said we were moving to a new state or a new country, I'd be like, 'Bye, bye,' and I'd get my kids together, pack up our s**t and go with him," she said. "That's just what families are supposed to do. Ride or die."

Teresa made the shocking revelation in a sneak peek of the final part of "RHOA" season 9 reunion. "I'm not doing a long distance relationship. I'm not doing it," she told Andy Cohen. "I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I'm sure he'll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing, it's not going to work. I'd be like, 'Bye, bye.' " She went on saying that she would only go if her daughter wants to.

In related news, it has been reported that Joe won't be returning home as scheduled. The businessman is set to be released on March 14, but now he will have to remain in jail for an "unknown" amount of time until a decision on his deportation is made, according to Page Six.

James J. Leonard Jr., his lawyer, tells the publication that his team is "optimistic [to] receive the appropriate relief" once his appeal is heard despite the delay. "[He] will be able to come home and remain there with with his family," he says. "They love him, they support him and they miss him tremendously."
