AceShowbiz - Kristoff St. John's fiancee Kseniya Mikhaleva won't be able to bid final farewell to him at his memorial service. The Russian native reveals her "heart is broken" as she's going to miss her fiance's funeral, which is planned for Monday, March 11, due to her problems with visa.
Kseniya announced her impending absence at Kristoff's service on Instagram. "It is with deep regret and sorrow in my heart that I make this statement," she began her lengthy post. "Several weeks ago I applied for an 'emergency'visa for the funeral to say goodbye my fiance and beloved. Answer was 'No'. My heart is broken."
"I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart, and realize that I don't have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair," she continued. "Any person in my place would be torn into pieces. It's scary, painful, that I cannot be with my loved one and his family on his last journey to eternal peace."
Kseniya, who got engaged to "The Young and the Restless" actor in September last year, said, "For a year, I was the happiest women on Earth. That changed in a second. I still cannot believe that Kristoff is gone, so early, so unexpectedly, one month after our last meeting in Moscow."
She went on sharing, "In the two years that we were together, he taught me so much - how to love and be loved, how to open the best in other people, how to help people, and simply how to be a good human being. We planned to get married; we had many plans in the future together. With him gone, I have no idea what to do."
Kseniya also stated that she had not opened any fundraising pages to raise money to get her to the service. "As of today, I have not opened and am not planning to open any funds. Everything that you see was/is fake," she stressed.
She sent her prayers to Kristoff's "two wonderful daughters" and family, before ending her statement with "RIP @kristoffstjohn."
Kristoff died at his Los Angeles, California home on Sunday, February 3. He was 52. Kseniya wrote on Instagram after his passing, "You were the light for me and for many people, you were the kindest person I've ever met. You were a talented actor, a loving father, and a friend with a golden heart. Your soul and spirit always with me. I wish I could have been there to let you know how much you mean to me.You are deep in my heart."
The two-time Emmy-winning actor had been struggling with the loss of his son, who committed suicide in 2014 after battling mental illness. He and ex-wife Mia St. John also have a daughter named Paris Nicole, and he shares a daughter named Lola with his second ex-wife Allana Nadal.
