AceShowbiz - After a lengthy battle with infertility, Ryan Serhant and his wife Emilia Bechrakis have finally welcomed their first child together. The "Million Dollar Listing New York" star announced the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, March 3, revealing that their first child, a baby girl, was born on February 26.
Accompanying the announcement was a lengthy message about their struggles to get pregnant for nearly three years. Ryan admitted that he initially had a mixed feeling when the couple first found out that they were expecting, after nearly three years of trying. While they were totally overjoyed by the news, they were also afraid of losing their baby. "Because the fact that we were pregnant -- as beautiful as it was -- was almost too good to be true," he wrote.
"And because of that fear, we loved you as hard as we could from the moment we knew you existed. We thought if we put that love for you out there, you would hear it, and you would make it," he continued. "I watched you grow slowly with your momma every day, waiting for the moment I would finally meet you. I feel like I've spent my whole life working towards this moment, when everything would make sense."
Ryan went on telling his newborn daughter, "One day when you read this, I hope you can look back and be proud. And please go and give your Mom a BIG kiss because she's a true warrior, a fighter with the biggest hear, and the Queen of my world. Seriously one day we will tell you about all the shots, the pain, the sickness, and what birth was like for your Mom on Tuesday the 26 - it was insane! We love you now and forever, our new, beautiful, little puff."
Emily also took to her own Instagram account to announce the arrival of their baby and wrote a lengthy caption. In it, she explained how hard it was for her to get pregnant and once she did, she desperately wished for her baby to "stick." She said, "Every night, I prayed with all my soul that you were healthy and thanked God for the miracle that you are."
"Now that you're finally here, and I get to stare into your eyes, to smell your skin, to hold you, my heart is bursting... I can't find the perfect words to describe how madly in love I am," she continued. "I am forever grateful... my babylino."
Ryan and Emily got married in July 2016 on the island of Corfu in Greece, with around 150 guests attending the nuptials.
