New court documents for the City National Bank lawsuit uncover that the former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star may be facing arrest and punishment if she backs out of the examination hearing.

AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, have been served legal papers in their ongoing spat with City National Bank bosses.

Both Tori and Dean were officially ordered to appear in court for an examination of their finances at their Woodland Hills home within two days of each other earlier this month, according to The Blast.

City National Bank officials are keen to conduct the investigation into the pair's cash reserves after suing the couple in 2016 over a $205,000 (£154,000) debt they refused to pay.

Actress Spelling blew off that lawsuit and was hit with a default judgment of over $219,000 (£164,000), according to the outlet.

The examination will determine how City Bank bosses can collect their money.

According to the new documents, if Tori blows off the hearing, she may be subject to arrest and punishment for contempt of court.

The news of the latest legal spat comes just hours after Tori was named among the cast of a planned "Beverly Hills, 90210" reboot alongside former co-stars and friends like Jason Priestley and Jennie Garth.
