Among the best-dressed celebrities at the 91st Annual Academy Awards is Emma Stone, who arrived in a beautiful honeycomb-esque gold and brown gown from Louis Vuitton.

AceShowbiz - The 91st Annual Academy Awards had just concluded. The Sunday, February 24 ceremony, which was held at the Dolby theater, honored the folks in film industry as well as gave the platform for the A-listers to show off their best look on the red carpet. Some celebrities turned heads in popping-colored ensembles, some opted for simple yet elegant look for the big night.

Spike Lee, the director of acclaimed movie "BlacKkKlansman", earned people attention in by going color-coordinated in a purple suit. He completed his eye-catching look with matching glasses and hat. However, that was not the only thing he did that caught people's attention.

The director appeared to be "furious" of the results of Best Picture at the Oscars after it was announced that "Green Book" was the winner, edging out his movie and fellow nominees "Roma", "A Star Is Born", "The Favourite", "Black Panther" and "Bohemian Rhapsody. Lee reportedly turned his back during director Peter Farrelly's acceptance speech and said that "the ref made a bad call" during an interview backstage.

Back to the red carpet, "Black Panther" actress Danai Gurira glowed in a golden strapless gown which featured a black belt. She further added goddess vibes to her look with a matching head piece, bracelet and ring.

Also looking stunning that night was Lady GaGa, who nabbed her first Oscar for Best Original Song for her Bradley Cooper collaboration track "Shallow". She went commando as she sported $30 million (£22 million) Tiffany necklace which she paired with a strapless black Alexander McQueen gown with matching opera gloves.

Cooper, meanwhile, hit the red carpet with girlfriend Irina Shayk, twinning in black. As for Mahershala Ali, who took home the Best Supporting Actor trophy for his performance in "Green Book", looked dapper in a classic black-and-white suit. Her wife, Amatus Sami-Karim, opted for a galaxy-patterned layered dress.
