Up for Best Actress and Best Original Song at the 91st Academy Awards, the leading lady of 'A Star is Born' pairs her jaw-dropping Tiffany jewelry with a strapless black Alexander McQueen gown.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa stunned at the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 24, by dazzling in a $30 million (£22 million) Tiffany necklace.

The "A Star Is Born" actress arrived at the Los Angeles ceremony wearing the jaw-dropping yellow diamond around her neck, which she paired with a strapless black Alexander McQueen gown with matching opera gloves.

The necklace from the iconic jewellery retailer was originally worn by legendary screen actress Audrey Hepburn in 1961 while she was promoting her film "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

"Lady Gaga is the ultimate creator, innovator and rule breaker, and I'm thrilled that she will be wearing the legendary Tiffany Diamond on the awards show red carpet for the first time since it was discovered 141 years ago," Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co. Chief Artistic Officer, said in a statement.

The stone is comprised of 128.54 carats and was first discovered in South Africa by Tiffany & Co. founder Charles Lewis Tiffany.

The "Born This Way" hitmaker is up for Best Actress for "A Star Is Born", and Best Original Song for the track "Shallow", which she is set to perform at the event.
