This arrives after it was reported last week that the host and her husband Kevin Hunter were no longer involved in the day to day operations of the show.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams's hiatus from "The Wendy Williams Show" following her health issue seemingly continues getting extended indefinitely. A new report suggests that the daytime talk show will go into reruns as early as next week.

A source additionally tells Radar Online that the host is still not speaking to her employees ever since she took a break from the show last month. "Staff have not heard from Wendy and are concerned for the future of their jobs," says the insider. "It has been a struggle."

This arrives after it was reported last week that Wendy and her husband Kevin Hunter were no longer involved in the day to day operations of the show. "She is 100 percent not involved," a source shared to Us Weekly. "Every decision is now being made with zero conversations with Wendy."

Previous reports stated that staff members were against her coming back to the show, claiming that working with her was a "nightmare." During her absence, a source spilled, "Everyone is laughing and smiling and working together. We all had gotten so used to walking on eggshells around Wendy and Kevin, we forgot what a fun work environment was."

"At first the staff was worried about losing their jobs. Now it looks like the show can survive without Wendy, and a lot of people don't want her to return," the insider also said, adding that the staff feels reassured by the recent calming presence.

One of the reasons the staff didn't feel comfortable working with Wendy is her alleged diva behavior. "There was so many unwritten rules with working with Wendy. You couldnt contact her directly. Only certain staff members could talk with her," the source shared. Additionally, her husband Hunter was deemed a "terror on set."

"No one was allowed to disagree with him. It was a nightmare work environment," the source goes on saying to the outlet. "You never knew what mood Wendy or Kevin were going to be in."

The host is on break from "The Wendy Williams Show" as she's focusing on getting herself recovered from Graves' disease and a fractured shoulder. "As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves' Disease that will require treatment," her family revealed in press release on January 18.
