The 'Hero' hitmaker and his former tennis ace partner were accused of failing pay up for labour, services and materials for construction on their Florida building.

AceShowbiz - Pop superstar Enrique Iglesias has settled a lien regarding outstanding fees for construction undertaken on the Miami, Florida mansion he shares with longtime partner Anna Kournikova.

The "Hero" hitmaker and former tennis ace Kournikova were slapped with the legal notice on January 15, amid allegations suggesting they had failed to pay up for labour, services, and materials provided by officials at Williams Paving Co Inc. completed in October (2018).

They claimed the bill, amounting to just over $2,130 (£1,630), was sent to the stars' general contractor, but months after the invoice was ignored, company bosses took the case to court, reports The Blast.

However, Iglesias and Kournikova, who are parents to one-year-old twins Nicholas and Lucy, were quick to settle the debt, and they immediately paid the amount in full, according to new court papers filed earlier this month (February 2019).
