The father of Miley Cyrus sparks controversy after he posts an Instagram picture of his wife Tish posing in front of a locker filled with a stash of marijuana.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus has been open about her love for smoking weeds and now everyone knows where she gets that. The singer's father Billy Ray Cyrus recently took to Instagram to share a picture of his wife and Miley's mom Tish posing in front of a locker filled with bags of marijuana.

The country music singer captioned the shot, "Yes! Like I said yesterday @TishCyrus.... my how the times they are a changing #CrAzYMaMa."

Billy started the joke one day before, when she posted a picture of a bouquet of flowers he gifted his wife on Valentine's Day. The bouquet included some green leaves and weeds. He jokingly wrote in the caption, "What? And I had to be a closet smoker for 40 years? Once had to buy @TishCyrus a car just because she smelled it on me."

In a comment section of Billy's Friday, February 15 post, Tish set things straight that the marijuana supply didn't belong to them. "First of all... My husband @billyraycyrus is INSANE, Second, this picture is also insane, and third this is NOT my weed or my house! Hahah," she wrote, adding, "But if it was, that would be amazing for so many reasons!"

But that didn't stop other Instagram users from bashing the couple for glamorizing marijuana use and setting a bad example to their children. "and no wonder your daughter is insane!" one wrote. Another commented, "No wonder why your children are so stupid to take drugs, because you are a stupid role model."

"I know Billy Ray confesses to be a Christian. Billy Ray your family is so involved in worldly things. I'm praying God [leads] you back to him ... I'm praying for y'all," another responded to the picture.

Some others criticized how white people could get away with pictures like that, while minorities, including black people, would land in jail for this. "Meanwhile minorities are being thrown into jail for this," one pointed out.

Another similarly complained, "It's always 'hip' and 'cool' when white people do it, but when black people do it, it's ghetto, encourages gang violence and is worthy of being jailed." Someone else added, "Cops have tracked down and arrested people of color for taking pictures like this but hardly waste any time doing the same to white folks."

Another outraged user protested, "GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHAT WHITE PRIVILEGE LOOKS LIKE PPL, A BLACK PERSON COULD NEVER PULL THIS OFF WITHOUT BEING QUESTIONED OR RAIDED BY THE CROOKED AUTHORITIES."

Billy and Tish have not responded to the criticisms.
