AceShowbiz - A love story between human and androids usually doesn't end up with a good conclusion, and Katy Perry has proved it with her Zedd collaboration. After much anticipation, the musicians unearthed their collaborative single "365" on Thursday, February 14 along with its accompanying music video, which was directed by Warren Fu.

In the visuals, Zedd plays a human participating in a year-long study where scientists attempt to find out whether a human and an android can develop romantic feelings for each other. The Russian-German record producer has to spend time with Perry, who plays the android, in a house together. The songstress tries really hard to make a genuine connection with Zedd, but her aggressive attempts only make him become annoyed.

Throughout the music video, it's clear that Perry has developed real love for Zedd, who keeps showing his dislike towards her. After overhearing him tell one of the scientists that he doesn't love her, a heartbroken Katy suffers malfunction and nearly burns the house that they live in to the ground. In the end, the scientists decide to shut her system down.

"365" is the first release of the year for both Katy and Zedd. Talking about their collaboration, Zedd said in a statement, "Katy and I have known each other for a while now and while on tour together in Australia last summer, we started working on some music. After we got off tour and with out musical value systems even more aligned we continued working together and that's when '365' started to take shape."

"As it all came together, we knew we had something special," he continued. "I love how Katy sounds on this record. I'm so excited to finally share this with our fans."

Katy added, "I was really excited for Zedd to join my 'Witness' tour last year, and in our down time, we started vibing on music, which led to this special song. Happy to collaborate with such a talented and down-to-earth human being."
