The actress playing Jennifer Jareau on 'Criminal Minds' is seeking $1.6 million compensation from David Guillod, who retaliates by accusing her of trying to get out of paying him.

AceShowbiz - Actress A.J. Cook is suing her former manager for allegedly failing to disclose he was accused of sexual misconduct and assault.

The "Criminal Minds" star is seeking $1.6 million (£1.2 million) and argues David Guillod could have tarnished her image and ruined her reputation as an advocate for women. She also accuses him of conspiring with a former lawyer to overcharge her.

Guillod has denied the allegations against him and claims Cook is simply trying to get out of paying him. According to The Blast, Cook filed a countersuit against Guillod and bosses at his former company, Primary Wave Entertainment, who allege the actress owes them at least $333,000 (£259,200) in unpaid commissions.

However, Cook insists she will be presenting proof of the allegations against Guillod.

"Mr. Guillod's victims will soon be testifying in this matter," Cook's attorney, Michael J. Saltz, says. "As it is our intent to prove that the claims against Mr. Guillod are both disturbing and true, and that Mr. Guillod's failure to disclose this information to Ms. Cook is both illegal and inexcusable."

She is suing for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, intentional concealment of material facts, and unjust enrichment.

Meanwhile, allegations against Guillod are under investigation by officials at The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
