At the Television Critics Association's Winter Tour, the 'Monster's Ball' actress also talks about what she is aiming to do with the 10-episode series which is based on Eddie Murphy's 1992 movie.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry is heading to TV for a potential cameo in the small screen reboot of her hit 1992 movie "Boomerang".

The actress is producing the 10-episode series, based on her 27-year-old Eddie Murphy film, and reveals she is considering making an appearance.

Promoting the show at the Television Critics Association's Winter Tour, she said, "I wanted to tell the story in a fresh way and deal with all of the issues that millennials are facing, which is very different to the issues of 1992, and to carry on the legacy of the original movie," she says.

The new "Boomerang" show, which premieres in America on Tuesday night, February 12, stars Tequan Richmond, Leland Martin, Lala Milan, and Tetona Jackson, who will portray the daughter of Berry's movie character.
