Janelle Monae, who is up for two categories at the award-giving event, also takes the stage to offer an equally electrifying performance of 'Make Me Feel'.

AceShowbiz - The 61st Annual Grammy Awards officially took off on Sunday, February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. One of the biggest award events in music history, which featured Alicia Keys as the host, was on fire with Camila Cabello performing her hit song "Havana" alongside J Balvin and Ricky Martin.

The trio wildly kicked the ceremony off as they were joined by American-Cuban jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval in the lit rendition of the song. Camila looked vibrant in a yellow bustier which she teamed with a matching skirt, shoe and hot pink robed.

The former Fifth Harmony singer recreated the scenes on her music video before Young Thug made a guest appearance to sing his part of the song. In the Cuba-inspired performance, the singers were joined by back dancers which further drove the audience wild. Later, the excitement was escalated as Balin, who donned in an all-red ensemble, belted out a verse of his mega-hit "Mi Gente" with Sandoval's trumpet joining in.

Camila is nominated for two awards this year, Best Pop Solo Performance for "Havana" and Best Pop Vocal Album for her self-titled album "Camila". The latter award, however, was nabbed by Ariana Grande who won for her album "Sweetener". As for Best Pop Solo Performance Award went to Lady GaGa for her "Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin'?)".

Also performing that night were Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes. The two singers, who joined forces in a Dolly Parton tribute at the Recording Academy's annual MusiCares benefit gala on Friday, brought back their chemistry to the Staples Center tonight. The "Malibu" singer joined in the Canadian singe in performing his chart-topping single "In My Blood".

The song was included in his Best Pop Vocal Album-nominated album. Additionaly, the song also earned him a nomination for Song of the Year category. Also up for the category are Kendrick Lamar and SZA for "All the Stars", Ella Mai for "Boo'd Up", Drake for "God's Plan", Brandi Carlile for "The Joke", Zedd and Grey for "The Middle", Gaga for "Shallow" and Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) for "This Is America".

Following it up was Janelle Monae who offered an equally electrifying performance of "Make Me Feel". Belting out her song perfectly, the singer, who donned a black latex outfit that also featured white details around the neckline and waist, was joined a slew of dancers who were also clad in skimpy latex ensembles.

Janelle is nominated for Album of the Year for her album "Dirty Computer". Additionaly, she is also up for Video of the Year category for her music video for "Pynk".
