AceShowbiz - A new star is joining "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". Actress Robin Givens reportedly has been tapped to be the newest addition to the Bravo reality show.
MTO News states that the network is currently working with the "God Bless the Broken Road" actress who is set to be a part of next season's storyline. The 54-year-old actress is currently residing in Atlanta, making it unsuprising if she joins the popular reality show for the upcoming season.
An insider tells the site that "RHOA" has long been wanting Robin, who is a friend of "RHOA" stars Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey, to join the show. "We approached [Robin] years ago to be on the 'Housewives' and she declined," the insider reveals. "Now she's open to it."
"Oh [Robin] is definitely going to be on the show," the insider further claims. However, it's currently unknown "whether she'll be a housewife or a friend, but she's on."
It arrives after it was reported that Kenya Moore was beyond desperate to return to the show. The previous report suggested the former cast member of the Bravo reality show is offering the network's honchos a huge deal as she was willing to give up her initial good salary.
The mother of one allegedly was looking for a return to the show and offering to rejoin the show with only $500,000 per season. That was a huge paydown for Kenya as it meant she was offering a 75% discount from her initial $2 million salary two seasons ago.
In addition, Kenya was said to be open for any role on the show. "She's even willing to take a friend of the show role," an insider claimed. "She's desperate to get back on the show, in any way."
