As if the pair are not odd enough to be put together in the same room, Cudi also invites Timothee Chalamet to help him celebrate his birthday.

AceShowbiz - Kid Cudi gathered a rather interesting and odd group to help celebrate his 35th birthday at the famed restaurant Nobu in Malibu on late Wednesday, January 30. For the special occasion, the rapper invited his Kids See Ghost pair Kanye West, Pete Davidson and Timothee Chalamet. And no, your eyes do not fail you.

Kim Kardashian shared a slew of photos from the birthday dinner to her Twitter account. One picture showed the guest of honor showing his guests something funny on his phone, because they were all laughing. He was seated next to Pete and Timothee, while Kanye was standing behind them. Another image featured them posing for the camera.

"They all seemed to get along really well and had a nice time together," a source explained of the gathering to E! News. "It was a mellow night and the group mostly hung out and talked."

Needless to say, that's not a group of stars you see together every day. Thus, people were naturally surprised to learn that they hung out together. "Is it just me, or did no else expect these four people to be in the same room together," a female follower asked, and more than 3,000 people appeared to agree with her because they liked her tweet. "This mixture of people just doesn't make sense," another wrote.

Timothee and Pete have since long been fans of Cudi, so that may explain why they were invited to the private dinner party. The interesting thing was the fact that the comedian happily hung out with Kanye, considering the fact that he once dissed the rapper for his Donald Trump support and comments about not taking medication for bipolar disorder.

"There's no shame in the medicine game," he said in an episode of "Saturday Night Live". "I'm on 'em. It's great. Take 'em. There's nothing wrong with taking 'em. If I ever got on a plane and pilot said, 'I just want all of you to know, this is the real me flying.' I'd jump out. Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jacka**, OK? And I'm quoting my therapist, my mom and my mailman."

Maybe they have buried the past behind them. After all, Pete did show support to Kanye after he discussed his mental health publicly.
