A statement from the comedian's team reveals that he 'will be undergoing a long term treatment program,' as he is reported to being held in a New Jersey correctional facility for a few days.

AceShowbiz - Comedian Artie Lange is reportedly heading back to rehab following his positive drug test on Wednesday, January 30.
The 51-year-old is being held in Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark, New Jersey after he allegedly tested positive for cocaine and morphine during a court hearing earlier in the day.
According to reports, he has not been placed under arrest and is at the correctional facility to sober up before he goes back to rehab.
"Starting today, Artie will be undergoing a long term treatment program, he loves and respects his fans... updates coming soon.. and it's time - TeamLange," a message on his Twitter account reads.

In June (2018), Lange was sentenced to four years probation and ordered to complete a rehab stay after pleading guilty to a heroin possession charge in December, 2017. He was also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and a mandatory out-patient drug program.
