Recording Academy announces that the singer's landmark career and contributions to music will be honored with a special 75th Diamond Diana birthday performance.

AceShowbiz - Diana Ross is taking her 75th birthday celebrations to the Grammy Awards for a very special performance.

The legendary artist has been added to the line-up for music's big night, which takes place in Los Angeles on February 10.

"We're thrilled to announce a very special #GRAMMYs performance by @DianaRoss!" reads a statement posted by Recording Academy officials on Twitter.

"We will be honoring her landmark career and contributions to music with a special 75th Diamond Diana birthday performance."

The veteran singer joins a bill which already boasts sets from stars including Miley Cyrus, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Shawn Mendes. Alicia Keys will serve as the event's host.

Ross will be flying in for the ceremony from Las Vegas, where she will kick off her new residency shows, titled "Diamond Diana", at the Wynn Las Vegas on February 6. The series of concerts run until February 23.

The gigs will help the superstar get into the party mood in preparation for her upcoming birthday, which actually falls on March 26.
