The Player's Tribune, Derek's sports media platform, makes the announcement through Twitter that the ex-New York Yankees star and his wife, Hannah Davis, have welcomed another daughter.

AceShowbiz - Retired baseball great Derek Jeter and his model wife Hannah Davis have welcomed their second child.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beauty Hannah Davis recently gave birth to a daughter, a little sister for the couple's first child, Bella Raine, who was born in August 2017.

The announcement was made via Twitter on Thursday, January 31, by a writer for The Players' Tribune, the sports media platform Derek, 44, founded in 2014.

"Congratulations Derek and Hannah on the birth of your second baby girl, Story Grey Jeter," the message read. "Welcome to the family, #2."

The famously private couple never confirmed Hannah's second pregnancy, but the 28-year-old had been photographed sporting a growing baby bump in recent months.

The news emerges four months after Derek gushed about fatherhood in an interview on U.S. news show "Extra" in September (18).

"Regardless of what happens in the course of a day, when you get home and you have your daughter there, it puts a smile on your face, so I have no complaints whatsoever," he shared.

However, at the time, Derek refused to confirm or deny reports suggesting he and Hannah were preparing to become parents again.

Asked when he would become a father of two, he remarked, "You're slick, I see that."

The former New York Yankees legend, once one of America's most eligible bachelors, became engaged to Hannah in 2015 after almost four years of dating, and they wed in Napa Valley, California in July 2016.
