The songstress has been trolled after she reveals a Japanese Kanji tattoo intended to spell out '7 Rings,' but it actually translates to a small Japanese-style charcoal grill.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has once again created abuzz within Twitterverse. The former Nickelodeon star is trolled by many after she revealed a Japanese Kanji tattoo that she got to celebrate the release of her single, "7 Rings", but she appeared to forget to double check before getting it inked on her palm.

Instead of spelling out the title of the single, she tattooed the word "shichirin," which translates to a small Japanese-style charcoal grill. Those who are familiar with Japanese quickly noticed the mistake and pointed it out to the world, before the misspelling went viral on social media. In results, many trolled her over it.

Ariana later defended herself, noting that she indeed knew how to spell "7 Rings" in Japanese, but because of the pain she had to go through to ink the words on her palm, she opted to erase a few characters. "It hurt like f**k n still looks tight. I wouldn't have lasted one more symbol lmao," she said in a since-deleted tweet. "But this spot also peels a ton and won't last so if I miss it enough I'll suffer thru the whole thing next time."

But that didn't stop trolls from mocking her. "i think u should all view this ariana grande situation as a valuable lesson . dont get tattoos in languages u dont fluently speak. Better yet . Dont use languages as an aesthetic," one said. "ariana grande's dumb a** got a tattoo of an entree and has the audacity to be like o lol I didn't want to sit thru it bc it hurt uwu so basically u care about the aesthetic of kanji but not the meaning of the words?? 'indeed,' " another said.

Instead of hitting back at the trolls, Ariana decided to thank them and promised to learn better. "i'd like it to be respectful and more correct bruh what's wrong w that tryna learn heeere," she said, before adding, "everything i do is out of love n appreciation. down for all the corrections and guidance. thank u."

Ariana has also gotten the support from her fans, with many appreciating her for apologizing over the mistake.
