Norma Gibson is expected to justify her behaviour to the court after the 'Furious 7' actor claimed that she failed to inform him about leaving their daughter with a classmate while she went to Trinidad.

AceShowbiz - Tyrese Gibson has accused his ex-wife of violating a court order by failing to tell him she left their daughter with somebody else while she left the country.

"The Fate of the Furious" star was granted joint custody of 11-year-old Shayla with her mother Norma in late 2017 after a bitter court battle, since when they have continued to fight over parenting issues in the courts.

In their latest disagreement, Tyrese has filed new court documents claiming that Norma left the country to go to Trinidad for a few days in early January when Shayla was supposed to be in her custody. Shayla allegedly stayed with a classmate for a one-night sleepover and was back in Tyrese's care the following day.

According to the document, obtained by TMZ.com, the 40-year-old said he learned about the sleepover afterwards because Norma never let him know first, which allegedly violates a 2014 court order which gave him the right of first refusal in that situation.

The "Transformers" star has also claimed that social media posts she shared in 2017 featuring Shayla is another violation of a previous court order.

A judge has responded by ordering Norma to appear in court to justify her behaviour. If she doesn't show up, she may be held in contempt of court and end up having to pay his legal and attorney fees.

The exes are already due to appear in court in February to work towards an agreement over Shayla playing soccer. Norma wanted to sign Shayla up for the sport, but Tyrese refused, claiming their daughter should be focusing on improving her poor grades in class.

The former couple was married from 2007 to 2009. During their bitter custody battle, Tyrese was accused of being abusive during their marriage and spanking their kid so hard she couldn't sit down.

Tyrese has since settled down with his second wife Samantha, and they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Princess Soraya, in October (18).
