AceShowbiz - The gang of survivors is back in the first-look photo for "Zombieland" sequel. Comparing the poster of the first movie with the art for the upcoming sequel, the post shared on the official "Zombieland" Twitter page shows how the four main characters look like now, ten years after the movie's release in 2009.

In the new poster, Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), Emma Stone (Wichita) and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock) recreate their poses in the old poster. Breslin's Little Rock shows the most significant difference in her appearance as she is now grown up and sports wavy blonde hair, replacing her dark tresses. Their weapons are also upgraded now, with each of them holding a gun.

The poster additionally reveals the sequel's title, which is "Zombieland: Double Tap".

Besides the four returning actors, the movie will feature franchise newcomers Zoey Deutch and Avan Jogia. Deadline additionally reports that "Daredevil" alum Rosario Dawson has just been added to the cast. Their roles are still kept under wraps.

The new movie reportedly will center on the comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland. The zombie slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

"Zombieland" scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese return to write the script for the sequel, with original director Ruben Fleischer on board to serve behind the lens again. Filming is scheduled to start later this week. Gavin Polone will produce, while Reese and Warnick are executive producers. The movie eyes an October 11, 2019 release date, just in time for the tenth anniversary of the first film.
