A spokesperson for the organization has issued a statement regarding the recent leak, insisting that 'there is no legitimacy to this.'

AceShowbiz - The internet was abuzz with the leaks of 2019 Grammy Awards' winners on Monday night, January 28. However, the Recording Academy was quick to take action and shut down the speculation before the rumors spread even wider.
"There is no legitimacy to this," a spokesperson for the organization stated. "Grammy Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the legal of the Grammy Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by [accounting firm] Deloitte in sealed envelopes."
In addition, the Recording Academy stated that they were reaching out to their legal team about potential legal action.
Rumored list of the 2019 Grammy Awards' winners made its way round on Monday, January 28, with the likes of Cardi B and Lady GaGa being included on the list. While the former was allegedly named the winner of Record of the Year with her J Balvin and Bad Bunny collaboration "I Like It", the "Bad Romance" singer was revealed as the recipient for Song of the Year with her Bradley Cooper duet "Shallow".
Another alleged winner who was shown in the video was Gabriella Union a.k.a. H.E.R. The clip showed that she nabbed the biggest honor, Album of the Year, with her self-titled album. Other rumored winners whose names weren't shown in the clip included Taylor Swift, The Carters (Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z) as well as Childish Gambino a.k.a. Donald Glover.
The official winners will be announced at the 61st annual Grammy Awards, which will air live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10 at 8 P.M. ET on CBS. Alicia Keys will serve as the host of the event. Kendrick Lamar dominates the nominee list with eight nods, as Drake follows closely behind with seven nods.
