Originally scheduled to hit the theaters on February 22, the Reed Morano-directed spy drama has been moved to one particular Friday date before the Thanksgiving holiday.

AceShowbiz - The release of Blake Lively's much-anticipated spy drama, "The Rhythm Section", has been pushed back to hit cinemas in late November.
Director Reed Morano's film was scheduled to hit theatres on February 22, but producers are reportedly so thrilled about the movie they've given it a stronger release date, closer to awards season.
The film was stalled in late 2017 when Lively was badly injured on set. The former "Gossip Girl" star, who plays a homeless, heroin-addicted prostitute seeking revenge against those who orchestrated a plane crash that killed her family, reportedly underwent surgery and the production shut down for months to allow her to fully recover. Filming resumed last summer.
Lively's co-star Jack McEvoy tells WENN, "It was news that shocked everyone but you pull your boots up and get on with it. It's a tough gig, but there's a lot heavier things going on in the world."
"Nobody died, nothing really bad happened. The film still went ahead and it's still gonna be great. It was bad timing.
"All I knew is that my agent told me I wouldn't be filming until a later date and then I heard that Blake was injured and that was terrible news. That was the first thing that crossed my mind. It wasn't, 'Dammit, I'm not filming'. It was, 'Is she OK?' Health is more important. I believed she would be OK - and she was."
"The Rhythm Section" will now hit cinemas on November 22, the Friday before America's Thanksgiving holiday.
