The couple dated back in May 2017, when the singer was 26 and the budding photographer had just turned 18, according to British newspaper The Sun.
Rita and Brooklyn were spotted holding hands after enjoying dinner together at The Electric, a bar and cinema in Notting Hill, London. In a bid to prevent unwanted attention, Rita left the venue alone and later drove Brooklyn's car to pick him up.

The couple exchanged flirty texts and had steamy make-out sessions, before Brooklyn's mother Victoria Adams reportedly put a stop to the blossoming romance.
The former Spice Girls member turned fashion designer was "furious" when she discovered Brooklyn was dating Rita, and was allegedly concerned that he would be "led astray" by the "I Will never Let You Go" singer.
Editors at The Sun claimed Brooklyn was later sent to the Parsons School of Design in New York to study photography after the romance ended.
Rita and Brooklyn "mutually agreed" to end their brief relationship after the teenager's parents got involved.
"David was pretty furious when he got wind of their friendship, and Victoria was understandably concerned about the age gap. She thought the whole thing was a bit weird," a source told The Sun.
Rita and Brooklyn have yet to comment on the report.
