AceShowbiz - Kim Porter's cause of death was unveiled by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner on Friday, January 25. According to a spokesperson for the medical examiner's office, the late model died from lobar pneumonia, which is the inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs, back in November last year.
Her manner of death has been indicated as natural causes as there were no signs of trauma, and foul play was not suspected in her death. According to the report, there were "multiple unopened or partially empty bottles of water, Pedialyte and sports drinks on a nightstand" at the scene where Porter was found unresponsive in her bed.
The report additional stated that "cups containing what appeared to be tea and water, a box marked 'Azithromycin tablets,' and a partially empty bottle of Tylenol were also noted on the nightstand," with "bowls containing what appeared to be tomato soup" were noted in the room. Investigations also found a small amount of blood in her nose as well as a white froth issuing from her mouth.
Porter was found unresponsive in her Los Angeles home on November 15, 2018. Prior to her death, the ex-girlfriend of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs was visited by a doctor after she complained of experiencing flu-like symptoms. It was said that she was feeling "nasal congestion" with a "mild streak of blood with phlegm" during coughing, as well as intense sweats, body aches and a sore throat. Porter also had a fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
Porter was buried in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on November 24. During her public funeral at Cascade Hills Church, Diddy arranged for her casket to travel in a carriage pulled by horses while acclaimed pastor T.D. Jakes officiated the service. Diddy additionally held a memorial for his baby mama prior to funeral, on November 18, at his home in Bel Air, California.
