AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has been successful in getting prisoners out of jail, so it's only natural for Vinny Guadagnino to ask the makeup mogul to help free Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from prison. The 31-year-old "Jersey Shore" star delivered his pitch to Kim when talking to TMZ on Tuesday, January 22.
Explaining that his castmate would do more good for society if he were released from prison, Vinny said, "Mike is an amazing person. To me, he's completely reformed. He's like, a great member of society. He preaches to kids who have addictions. He's a big advocate and evangelist for recovery. He'd be better off out here helping people." Concluding his message, the "Vinny & Ma Eat America" alum told the mother of three, "Kim, get on that."
Besides pleading for the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's help, Vinny gave an update on how Mike was doing behind the bars. "I heard he's doing great in there," he told the news outlet. "He was never like really nervous about it. So I was praying. I'm like, 'Oh God I hope once he's in there, it's okay.' But [his wife] Lauren told us that he's doing great."
"He's going to be alright," Vinny continued. "He's so strong mentally from like his recovery process that it's working out for him now in jail... Mike's the type of guy where he looks for the positive in every situation. I can picture him in there, watching TV, working out."
Mike began his 8-month jail stint last week after pleading guilty to one count of tax evasion in January 2018. After the MTV personality completes the eight months of prison, he will have two years of supervised release and 500 hours of community service. In addition to that, he was ordered to pay $10,000 fine and $123,000 in restitution which he already did.
