Weighing in on the 'Black Swan' star's move in declining the 2018 Genesis Prize out of endorsement fear, the former 'Roseanne' actress lashes out, 'I find her repulsive.'

AceShowbiz - Outspoken Roseanne Barr has slammed Natalie Portman for pulling out of plans to attend a ceremony to accept the 2018 Genesis Prize in Israel last year (18).

The "Black Swan" star was named the 2018 Genesis Prize Laureate in November 2017 for her commitment to the Jewish people through her professional achievements.

The actress was expected to accept the honour in June (18), but in April (18) she announced she was not going to attend the ceremony because she feared her presence would be mistaken as an endorsement of event speaker, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Portman was criticised by many of her fellow Israelis and now Barr, who is of Jewish descent, is expressing her disdain towards the actress' decision.

"It was really sickening, I find her repulsive," she tells Israel Hayom newspaper. "She was raised in incredible privilege of safety in the Jewish state and knows nothing about anti-Semitism."

"She's the darling of the left here, the Jewish left in Hollywood, she is a complete hypocrite who grew up in safety and privilege, like I said before, and knows nothing about what she speaks of," she adds.
