The 'Moneyball' actor and the 'Dark Places' actress met six months ago when doing a commercial shoot for watch brand Breitling, but they were never dating, a source says.

AceShowbiz - Those who have already shipped Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron should be prepared to be disappointed. The two A-list stars may not be more than friends despite reports circulating online which stated otherwise.
According to PEOPLE, the "World War Z" actor and the "Tully" actress met six months ago when they shot a commercial for watch brand Breitling. They were joined by "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" star Adam Driver during the filming.
"About six months ago, they did a shoot together," a source with knowledge of the situation says. And although the site claims that Brad and Charlize "have spent time together," the source notes, "They have not been out together recently, and were never dating. Reports of them being involved romantically are false."
The source also debunks rumor that it's Charlize's ex-fiance Sean Penn who introduced her to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" star. "That couldn't be more false. Not in the slightest," the source claims, adding, "...anything that may have happened beyond [the photoshoot] remains to be seen."
Earlier reports stated that Brad and Charlize have known each other for years after being introduced by her ex Sean, but it's only recently that their relationship turned romantic. Words were the 55-year-old actor and the 43-year-old actress "have been casually seeing each other for nearly a month" since the Christmas season.
The Sun reported that the alleged pair showed some PDA at a recent public event. After attending the private screening for "If Beale Street Could Talk" on Saturday, January 12, Brad reportedly joined Charlize at a screening of "Roma" at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont.
"Brad came over to Chateau afterwards, changed his outfit and joined Charlize in a corner of the bar," a source told the site."She was on a vodka cocktail while he stuck to mineral water." The pair didn't seem to hold back from showing their affection to each other as the source dishes, "They were ridiculously touchy-feely and his arm was around her back. At one point he winked at her."
Brad has never been in a public relationship since splitting from Angelina Jolie in 2016 after more than ten years together and two years of marriage. As for Charlize, she dated Sean in 2013 and got engaged in 2014, but called it quits in June 2015.
