The 'No Hands' rapper and his TV personality wife renew their vows in an extravagant beach ceremony in Mexico.

AceShowbiz - Waka Flocka Flame is keeping his promise to give Tammy Rivera her dream wedding. Five years after they tied the knot in 2014, the "No Hands" hitmaker and his TV personality wife celebrated their marriage anniversary with a renewal of nuptial vows in an extravagant beach ceremony in Cancun, Mexico.
About the Saturday, January 19 ceremony, Tammy told PEOPLE that she and her husband had agreed to throw a traditional marriage ritual only if they are able to pass the 5-year mark. "Today my dream has come true," she said. "I am marrying my best and soulmate all over again. When God make Waka, he wrote my name beside his."
Waka himself recalled how he made sure to win Tammy's heart. "Eight years ago I remember chasing Tammy down, grabbing her by the arm. I had to keep her purse so she wouldn't leave me, and I knew then that she would forever be mine," he spilled. "I never knew what love was until I met Tammy. Today I am giving her a dream wedding that she always wanted."
Tammy has informed her followers of the renewal ceremony through an Instagram post less than a week before it took place. Showing off her engagement ring in a video, she gushed in its caption, "Jan 21st we will be married for 5 years! We always said if we survive 5 years we will do the whole traditional ceremony, The Rings, The wedding, The Dress THE WHOLE SHEBANG!!"
"So I'm happy to announce we will be having a destination wedding the right way with our mothers by our side on jan 19," the 32-year-old continued to dish on what she had in store. "Every since I seen the episode of Martin when him and Gina got married on the beach that was my dream wedding."
Waka and Tammy's marriage was not without its own problems. The two split in June 2016 because of an alleged infidelity from the "Get Low" MC's part. Tammy was quick to clarify on an Instagram post, "Me and Waka separation had nothing to do with ANYONE! Waka did not leave me for ANYONE lol." They eventually managed to get back together.
In October 2017, Tammy opened up to Essence about repairing their broken marriage. "One thing I can say that's hard about repairing a marriage when it's been broken is the trust part," she stated. "Being able to trust them because once you’ve faced infidelity, it’s hard. Having a positive mindset really helped me because if you think nothing but positive thoughts then that’s what’s going to happen. But he changed completely."
