AceShowbiz - Tragic rocker Chris Cornell is to be honoured with a signature Gibson guitar.
Bosses at the company have revealed plans to launch the new Chris Cornell ES 335 model later this year, along with a new axe dedicated to late rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry.
Gibson executives will showcase the new guitars and their 2019 artist collaborations next week, beg January 21, at the NAMM convention in Anaheim, California.
The bosses teamed up with Berry's son and grandson to recreate the guitar great's signature ES-350T, while sales of Cornell's limited-edition model will benefit charities the rocker supported in his life.

Gibson previously partnered with the Soundgarden frontman to work on his original ES-335 Artist Model, which featured a Mother-of-Pearl "peghead inlay". The original became one of the company's most popular and most distinct artist offerings.
