AceShowbiz - Latin pop star Nicky Jam is returning to the big screen for the new "Bad Boys" movie.
The hitmaker will play a villain opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in "Bad Boys for Life", which will also feature Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, and DJ Khaled, while Joe Pantoliano will reprise his role as Captain Howard in the film, which is currently in production.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct the sequel, while Jerry Bruckheimer is returning as producer.
The highly-anticipated movie follows Smith and Lawrence's characters, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, as they clash with a highly-specialised police unit when a new threat emerges in Miami.
"Bad Boys for Life", a follow-up to 1995's "Bad Boys" and 2003's "Bad Boys 2", will hit theatres in January, 2020.
The film will serve as a reunion for Nicky Jam and Smith, who performed the official 2018 FIFA World Cup song, "Live It Up", at the closing ceremony of the competition in Moscow, Russia last year.
