Rumor has it, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker will be back on the road sometime in 2019 to perform new songs from an upcoming new album as well as her classic hits.

AceShowbiz - Madonna is reportedly preparing for a comeback world tour.

Set to kick off later this year, the Queen of Pop will perform her classic hits as well as tracks from her upcoming new album, according to The Sun.

A source told the outlet that the 60-year-old plans to go all out on the tour.

"Madonna is really excited about performing her new music and has spared no expense with the production. She's hugely professional and always puts on a mind-blowing show. It's going to be the hottest ticket in town," they exclaimed.

The mother-of-six is also determined to showcase her incredible figure with plenty of dramatic costume changes.

Madonna recently posted a series of videos of her rehearsing a 1970s-themed disco routine from her last world tour in 2015, "Rebel Heart".

"Find The Middle Ground............. Then Go Out There and Crush it!" she captioned the funky clips on Instagram, along with a #2019 hashtag, which sparked the rumours that she was to tour once again.

Back in October, she revealed she was putting the final touches to her 14th studio album – which will be released later this year – and working on her MDNA Skin beauty range.

"I'm finishing my record, which I'm going to release next year. Yep, in between rose mist spray and serums, I'm actually making music. Can't quit my day job," she said.

The "Rebel Heart Tour" kicked off in 2015 in support of her album of the same name. It wrapped in 2016 and grossed more than $169 million (Β£131 million).
