AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has sparked dating rumors with fellow former Disney star Austin North. The 26-year-old actress/singer is reportedly finding comfort in the 22-year-old actor since she checked out of rehab last November.
Selena and Austin were spotted together during their snow-tubing trip with other pals in Big Bear, CA in December 2018. They have also hung out outside the snow-filled vacation as Life & Style magazine (via HollywoodLife.com) reports that they attended a church service together on New Year's Eve in Los Angeles.
"They enjoy going on trips that don't involve alcohol, and although Selena's been advised not to jump into a relationship just yet, who knows what the future holds!" a source tells the publication. Austin has reportedly been a "positive influence" on Selena, with the source adding, "He understands the pressure that comes with fame, and like Selena, is a big believer in God."
Austin is best known for his role as Logan Watson on the original Disney Channel sitcom "I Didn't Do It". The actor, who debuted with a guest-starring role on Disney XD's series "Kickin' It" in 2011, also stars on Hulu's teen comedy series "All Night".
Meanwhile, Selena has been laying low since leaving rehab last year. She hinted at her new projects in 2019 in her new Instagram post. "Lots to look forward to in 2019. I can't wait to share the projects I've been working on with you. The first one is here," she wrote while sharing photos from her new Puma campaign.
Two days prior, she made her return on social media with her first Instagram post since September. Acknowledging her challenging year, she wrote, "It's been awhile since you have heard from me, but I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and to thank you for your love and support. Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth. It's always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it's not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all."
