According to the publication, the No Doubt singer and the country crooner "are going to be announcing their engagement very soon." Despite that, fans of the lovebirds may not get to see them walking down the aisle that fast. A source tells the news outlet that Gwen "wanted to take things slow" for the sake of her sons with Gavin Rossdale, Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4.
"Blake has always wanted to marry Gwen," the insider goes on saying. "But she's always been extremely cautious because she has three kids to mindful of."
Reps for Gwen and Blake did not immediately respond to request for comments.
It should be noted that this isn't the first time the lovebirds, who first met on the set of "The Voice", were hit with engagement rumors. Late last year, Gwen debunked the rumors when she stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", insisting that wedding bells had yet to ring for them.
"So Blake told me that y'all are engaged now. So, yes he told me you're engaged, so let's talk about that," host Ellen DeGeneres said, clearly trying to trick the blonde beauty into confirming the rumor. Unfortunately, Gwen did not fall for it. "No we're not! What are you talking about?! We're not!" she exclaimed. "We're not engaged, and we're not married. And he's my boyfriend still."
She doubled down on her comment during an appearance on "Today", explaining that they had "zero pressure" to get married. Referring to divorce from their own ex-spouses, she said, "I think everybody, when there's a trauma the way that we had back in the day, going through all these hard times and to get to a place where you find somebody who's like, your best friend, you know that you can depend on and trust, and just go through life, I think we're just trying to be in the moment as much as we can."
