Bezos, who has an estimated worth of $137.4 billion, reportedly 'has been secretly seeing' the former new anchor for at least several months.

AceShowbiz - Is cheating allegation the reason why Jeff Besoz and wife MacKenzie decide to end their 25 years of marriage? The Amazon CEO and his wife announced their divorce through a joint statement released via his Twitter on Wednesday, January 9.

"We want to make people aware of a development in our lives," so the statement began. "As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends. We fell incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for everyone one of the years we have been married to each other."

The estranged couple continued, "If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We've had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful futures ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursing ventures and adventures." They ended their statement by stating that they would "remain a family, and we remain cherished friends."

Just hours after the divorce announcement was made public, Page Six reports that Jeff "has been secretly seeing" former news anchor Lauren Sanchez for at least several months. According to the site, the two met years ago through her then-husband Patrick Whitesell, a talent agent and co-CEO of William Morris Endeavor. After becoming friends, Jeff hired her to work on a project for his aerospace company, but their relationship eventually went from professional to romantic.

Jeff, who has an estimated worth of $137.4 billion, and Lauren allegedly became closer over the fall after she officially called it quits with Patrick.

Jeff and Mackenzie got married in 1993 a year after their first meeting in Manhattan, New York, where he was working for D.E. Shaw. They share four children together, three sons and one adopted daughter from China.
