Lamb of God star Mark Morton and the late Linkin Park frontman teamed up on "Cross Off", which will appear on the guitarist's upcoming album "Anesthetic". The track was recorded in the spring of 2017, months before Bennington committed suicide in July 2017.

Morton released the song on Tuesday, January 08 and recently recalled how Chester surprised him with his work ethic while they were collaborating.
"He just had a lot of creative input at the ready when he came into the studio," he told Metal Hammer. "That was my initial like, 'Wow...' I was really impressed for a guy at his level, at the place in the career he was at, someone of his stature and celebrity, to have that level of humility and commitment to come in there and treat this like it would be a Linkin Park song, or his own song or whatever. I was pretty blown away by that...."
