The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star has been granted a second restraining order against Marty Caffrey after he allegedly caused emotional abuse.

AceShowbiz - After filing restraining order back in August, Danielle Staub issues another temporary restraining order against her ex-husband, Marty Caffrey. A representative for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star said that she decided to file another restraining order because she feared for her and her children's safety.

The rep confirmed on Thursday, January 3, that Staub accused Caffrey of emotional abuse in the restraining order. "She couldn't take it anymore," a source told Us Weekly. "She went to the police department last night to file it. It will be good for ten days."

Staub and Caffrey got married in May 2018, however, they split just after four months of marriage. A source said that the one who has been trying to end the marriage is Staub. "Danielle has been trying to end the marriage," the source claimed. "[Caffrey]'s been telling people that Danielle wants to work on their marriage, but it isn't true. He won't let her go."

The source also mentioned that Caffrey has been given four settlement offers by Staub's legal team, but he denied them all. "He's refused all of them, refused mediation," the source revealed. "He's intentionally dragging this out. He has a second home nearby but refuses to leave the house that Danielle is living in."

In December 2018, Staub opened up to Us Weekly about her husband's maliciousness. She said that she wanted him to cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split so they both can leave the marriage with "dignity." However, he refused her suggestion and filed a divorce complaint of maliciousness instead. "He turned it on me. He needs to lash out. He's not a well man," she said.

"He's really not a well man and I did everything that he wanted me to do to try to end this peacefully," she told the magazine. "I wanted him to take what little dignity he had left before I had to tell the truth and that was all I really wanted to do, was just to get him to file 'irreconcilable differences.' If you don't want this attention, which I did not, I didn't need for everyone to know how he was."

In the same month, Staub also claimed that Caffrey has been physically and verbally abusing her and her daughters. Caffrey allegedly "referred to [her] relationship with her daughters as a 'lesbian affair,' purposefully trying to hurt [her] by referencing incest and embarrass her about her childhood abuse." In addition, he "repeatedly referred to [her] daughters as a 'c**t' and 'entitled b***h' solely for the purpose of harming and harrassing [her]."
