AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles led revellers in singing "Happy Birthday" to her mum Tina at a surprise party on Friday, January 04.
The "Crazy in Love" star's mother has just turned 65 and was thrown a huge surprise bash by her husband Richard Lawson.
A video of the festivities posted by Tina on Instagram showed Beyonce standing next to her smiling husband Jay-Z and leading family and friends in singing her parent the birthday song. Her rendition wasn't quite up to her usual flawless standards, however, as she struggled to suppress a laugh during its opening bars.
Tina also shared a number of pictures from her celebration, including photo booth snaps of herself and her daughter smiling together while wearing toy crowns.
In the caption to another video clip of Richard greeting partygoers and exclaiming "we pulled this s**t off!", Tina gushed how her husband had gone to great lengths to keep the bash a secret.
"I am almost impossible to fool so my wonderful hubby Richard did an amazing job of keeping this party a secret that's major," she explained.
Beyonce knows how to throw a surprise party herself, as last month she stunned Jay by organising his 49th birthday bash in South Africa.
