While the country-singer-turned-pop-superstar opts for the Little Mermaid costume, the Victoria's Secret model goes as Mary Poppins.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift appears to have traded her famous Fourth of July party for hosting an epic New Year's Eve bash. Celebrating the new year, the country-singer-turned-pop-superstar threw a party on Monday night, December 31 where all of the attendees, including Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively, dressed up as their childhood heroes.

The "Blank Space" hitmaker took to Instagram to share pictures from the celebration, including a picture of the guests posing on a staircase in their best dresses. Taylor opted to dress up as the Little Mermaid, complete with a red wig and a flashy, green mermaid tail, while Gigi channeled an Emily Blunt-esque Mary Poppins. On the other hand, Blake went as Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz", sporting the character's iconic blue dress and ruby slippers.

The "Gossip Girl" alum was joined by her husband Ryan Reynolds, though he wasn't seen in the group photo. Instead, the actor appeared in a photo where he and Taylor were seen drinking a bottle of Aviation gin, a liquor brand he invests in. Unlike his actress wife, Ryan didn't wear a costume at the bash, donning a snazzy gray suit and a skinny maroon tie.

Also spotted in photos of the fun-filled party was Taylor's longtime best friend, Abigail Anderson, who channeled her inner Posh Spice at the bash.
